Training Journal - Lucky C

Lucky is a terrier mix.  He was adopted from the shelter by a couple who love dogs.  He is a very friendly dog, he has had one issue with being territorial and that was with the owner's brother-in-law.  But he didn't break skin.  I haven't seen any issues with him, and he is doing very well.

First week - July 15th

Today we started with focus.  I had the owners catch his attention with treats after I showed them how it was done.  Then we worked with automatic sit, which he did well with.  I again had the owners do it as well.  Then we worked with down and he did very well.  Next week we're going to work on loose-leash walking and possibly leave it.
